Georgie graduated from Plymouth University in 2007 with BSc (Hons) in Animal Science (Behaviour & Welfare) after careers in the Army and police. During university she volunteered for the RSPCA (domestic and wildlife), Bat Conservation Society and became a Marine Mammal Medic for the BDMLR. George graduated from Exeter University with a PGCE in Secondary Biology in 2008 and taught in various secondary schools before going on to lecture at university level. George wrote a new BTEC in Equine Management for Kingston Maurward College where she was a Programme Leader. The BTEC included the introduction of Monty Roberts Horsemanship into a traditional equine establishment. George spent 5 years fostering her niece and supporting her through paralysis to recovery and maintaining her education during this time.
George has trained in a number of therapies for people and animals, and now offers intuitive healing for people and a listening ear. George is training as a Therapeutic Counsellor (CPCAB) specialising in Person Centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt Therapy. She has gained experienced in this field working as an honorary counsellor for NHS Steps to Well-being and after relocating to Glastonbury for Help Counselling for children and young persons, is DBS checked and is a member of the BACP. George is also a LEAP practitioner, writes for horsemanship magazine and provides Equine Facilitated Learning and Equine ReWilding alongside Livvy at Paintedhorse.
Olivia ‘Livvy’ Adams spent the early part of her career as a front line police officer in the Avon and Somerset Constabulary, working on the now defunct Police women’s Unit which helped women and children in abusive relationships, as victims of sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Having left the police force to bring up her two children, Livvy subsequently retrained as an accountant, and continues to work with several clients today. After training with EPONA instructors Rosie Withey from Horses as Teachers, Caroline Morgan, Mike Khan & Shelley Rosenberg at Telford Equestrian Centre, Leanna Millward of Flying with Horses and later with Ella Jones and Mike Delany at LEAP Livvy established an equine facilitated and experiential learning and ReWilding business called ‘Paintedhorse’.
Having lived in or near Glastonbury all her life, Livvy offers a range of healing practices which comes under the umbrella of intuitive healing. Livvy is currently training as a Priestess of Cerridwen and aims to specialise to help people with pet/animal bereavement. She is also training in Eco ReWilding with Sweet Track Counselling and aims to help people connect back to nature, with or without the use of horses.
